1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 2) Cut a baking pumpkin in half (the author suggests doing 2 at a time). 3) Use a knife or fork to scrape out the seeds (these can be saved and roasted). 4) Place the pumpkin halves face down on a cookie sheet lined with foil, lightly oiled, and bake for 45 minutes or until soft. 5) Remove from the oven and let cool. 6) Scrape the pumpkin flesh off the skin and place it in a blender. 7) Blend until smooth. That's it!
