**For the Sauce:** 1. Sauté the chopped onion in 4 tablespoons of olive oil until softened, then add the chopped garlic and cook for another minute. 2. Add the 2 large cans of chopped tomatoes, 1 16oz can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper to taste, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Stir in the 2 small cans of tomato paste and continue to cook for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Add 1 quart of hot water, cover the pot, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 2 hours. **For the Meatballs:** 1. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix 1 lb of ground sirloin, 1-2 minced garlic cloves, salt and pepper to taste, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 3 pieces of wet and squeezed low-carb bread (torn into bits), 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese, and 1 beaten egg. 2. Roll the mixture into little balls. 3. Broil the meatballs on a greased broiler pan, turning once to brown them on all sides. 4. Add the browned meatballs directly into the simmering sauce and cook together until heated through and flavors are melded.
