1. Place all ingredients into a big pot except the onions. 2. Bring it to a boil, then turn off the heat. Add 1 gallon of ice and sliced onions. Let the brine cool completely, then add chicken or turkey and soak overnight in the fridge or if you live in cold place you can put the pot in the garage or outside if it won’t fit in your fridge. Make sure to cover with a lid or foil. 3. When you are ready to cook the chicken or Turkey, remove it from the brine and pat dry with paper towels. 4. Season & cook as desired. Enjoy!
