1. Cut all your vegetables into large chunks. 2. Sprinkle the roast with salt & pepper. 3. Add 1 tbsp oil to a griddle on the insert for the crockpot & sear the beef on all sides. 4. Add butter to the slow cooker then all the beef and all the ingredients. 5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. 6. Remove the roast from the pan & cut off the twine. Pull the beef apart, serve with veggies & pour the broth on top. Enjoy!
