1. Add vinegar, water, salt, and sugar to a pot and bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved. 3. Place garlic cloves, peppercorns, red pepper flake, and dill sprigs in the bottom of a 16-oz. mason jar. 4. Add cucumber spears to the jar. Pour vinegar solution over cucumbers and add additional water as needed to completely cover. 5. Refrigerate for at least 4 days. Enjoy!
