1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onions & peppers for about 7 minutes. 2. Stir in the jalapeños, garlic, spices, & herbs then add the meat to the pot. Break it up with a wooden spatula and sauté for about 8 minutes or until cooked through. 3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, bring to a quick boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 1 hour. 4. Serve with your favorite chili toppings, Fritos, garnishes & or cornbread.
