Fresh cherries are in prime season right now so go grab some from the store & make my Cherries Jubilee. It’s so easy & really delicious especially paired with vanilla ice cream!

What you need

cup brandy

cup orange juice

tbsp unsalted butter

cup sugar

cup sweet cherries
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter then add the cherries, sugar, & water. 2. Stir and cook for 5–6 minutes until cherries are tender and syrupy. 3. Flambé (Optional): if using alcohol: Remove skillet from heat, pour in brandy, return to the heat, and carefully ignite with a long match or lighter. 4. Let the flames subside naturally (about 30 seconds). 5. Spoon hot cherries and sauce over vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately.View original recipe
