Churros Bites (Quick Version using Bugles)

I’m always craving churros but don’t always have the time to make them so I created a quick version using Bugles corn chips! These “churros bites” are so easy & so addicting. They’re perfect to bring to a party or for hostess gifts, treats for friends or just a snack when you’re craving something with cinnamon & sugar. What you need

cup white sugar

cup brown sugar

unsalted butter

tsp vanilla extract

corn chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350° degrees. On a cookie sheet lined with foil, lay out the bugles. 2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes while stirring constantly. 3. Remove from the heat and whisk in the vanilla extract and 1 tsp of the ground cinnamon. 4. Pour the hot mixture evenly over the Bugles and use a rubber spatula or spoon to toss the chips to coat them evenly. 5. Spread in an even layer and bake for 5 minutes or less. 6. While Bugles bake, whisk together the granulated sugar and remaining cinnamon together until blended. Immediately upon removing the Bugles, liberally sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the hot Bugles, tossing to coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture. 7. Allow to cool then enjoy!View original recipe
