Easy Paella

You must try my Easy Paella I made using @minutericeus Yellow Rice Cups! This recipe is way easier than the traditional paella but still packs all the flavor. Minute Rice Cups are awesome because you can microwave them for 60 seconds and add them to the dish. Two rice cups feed a family of four so this recipe is the perfect budget-friendly family meal. Now that’s my kind of recipe– easy, flavorful and affordable!

What you need

cup green peas

chicken drumsticks

tsp paprika

lb sausage

tsp fresh garlic

tsp saffron

tbsp tomato paste
tsp red pepper
tbsp olive oil

bunch cilantro

onion

cup chicken broth

tsp pepper

tsp salt

lemon

cup minute rice
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil, onions & pepper. Sauté for about five minutes. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add in the garlic and sauté for another two minutes. While the garlic cooks, microwave two Minute Yellow Rice Cups for 90 seconds then stir the rice in. Turn down the heat to low. Sprinkle the paprika onto the rice. Add the saffron to warm chicken broth, stir and then pour into the skillet. Stir in the tomato paste & green peas. Add the shrimp, chicken & sausage and press into the rice. Turn the heat up to medium high heat. Cover with a lid and cook for about 5 more minutes or until the shrimp is cooked & the rice is crisped up. Add the garnish and enjoy!View original recipe
