egg

tbsp white vinegar
Instructions
1. Fill a medium-sized saucepan with about 3 inches of water. 2. Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. 3. Heat the water over medium heat until it reaches a gentle simmer. Small bubbles should be rising to the surface, but the water should not be boiling. 4. Crack the egg into a small bowl or ramekin. 5. Use a spoon to stir the water in one direction to create a gentle whirlpool. 6. Gently slide the egg from the bowl into the center of the whirlpool. 7. Let the egg cook for about 3 minutes, until the whites are set but the yolk is still soft. 8. Use a slotted spoon to carefully lift the poached egg out of the water. 9. Season with salt if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!View original recipe
