If you haven’t tried Miso Cod yet, you must run grab the ingredients asap! This is my favorite way to eat cod, halibut or really any fish! I heard it’s great with salmon too. Here’s how easy it is. This is similar to the copycat Nobu recipe.

What you need

cup mirin

cup miso

cup sake
lb cod
Instructions
1. Put sake and mirin in a saucepan and bring it to a boil over high heat. Boil for 20 seconds to let alcohol evaporate. 2. Reduce heat to low and add miso to the pan. Mix well until the miso dissolves completely with no lumps. Then add the sugar. Whisk to combine. 3. Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. 4. Pat-dry the fish fillets with kitchen paper and place in a shallow pan or plastic bag with the marinade. 5. Make sure the fish is completely submerged and airtight. 6. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 days but can marinate up to 3 days. 7. When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 500 degrees. 8. Pat the fish dry and place the fish onto a greased cookie sheet. 9. Broil in the oven for 5 minutes per side or 10 minutes just on 1 side if the other side has skin. 10. Remove from the oven and enjoy!View original recipe
