Cabbage Rolls

You have to try one of my favorite recipes! Cabbage Rolls… these are totally worth the effort and make for awesome meal prep & or leftovers. Here’s my recipe that you must make!

What you need
fresh tomatoes

bunch fresh parsley

tsp ground allspice

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp pepper

oz pasta sauce

tsp ground nutmeg

cabbage
cup short grain rice

lb turkey meat
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove core of cabbage and parboil cabbage briefly. 2. Separate leaves. (Slice large rib areas off before rolling) 3. In an oven safe pan, spread 1/2 cup of sauce in the bottom. 4. In a separate bowl, mix meat, rice, and spices. Place a Tbsp on each leaf and roll (not too tight because it will expand as rice cooks). 5. Arrange in layers over the pasta sauce. 6. Pour the rest of the sauce over the top of the cabbage rolls. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until the rice is fully cooked. 8. Let cool & garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!View original recipe
