Tex-Mex Stuffed Peppers

What you need

lb ground turkey

tbsp salted butter

cup yellow onion

tsp salt

tsp ground black pepper

tsp ground mustard

tsp garlic powder

tsp chili powder

tsp cumin powder

tsp dried oregano
tbsp lime

cup hot sauce

cup cauliflower rice

cilantro

shredded cheddar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Place prepared bell peppers on a cookie sheet lined with foil. 3. Cook at 350 for 10 minutes then remove from the oven to stuff. 4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter then sauté the onions for about 7 minutes or until soft. 5. Stir in the ground Turkey & spices. Brown the meat until cooked through (about 8 minutes). 6. Pour in the lime juice & hot sauce then stir in the rice. 7. Scoop the mixture into each pepper & top with cheese. 8. Place back in the 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly. Remove and garnish with cilantro. Enjoy!View original recipe
