Classic Ceviche

A light, zesty ceviche recipe featuring fresh fish and scallops marinated in a citrus blend with red onion, tomatoes, jalapeño, and cilantro. Perfect for Cinco de Mayo, it pairs wonderfully with guacamole, pico, and chips.

What you need

cup red onion

tsp garlic powder
cup fresh tomatoes

tsp fine sea salt

tsp pepper
sea scallops

cup mango

cup cilantro
lime

lb fish

tbsp jalapeno
Instructions
1. In a shallow bowl, add the fish, lime juice, orange juice, onions, tomatoes, jalapeño, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and cilantro. Stir to combine. 2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 2 hours. After 1 hour, stir ingredients to make sure everything is coated in the marinade and add the mango or pineapple chunks. 3. After 2 hours, stir again and garnish with fresh cilantro.
